ICE :: Service Provider Overview (disa.mil)

Are you PCSing with a dog?

We are currently scheduling U.S. HEALTH CERTIFICATE appointments ONLY but can help with any pre-PCS procedures, treatments, and preparation for other destinations.

  • Health certificates are valid for 10-days. As travel arrangements can often shift, we try to schedule the appointment 5-7 days before your flight to allow for changes in your itinerary. We will need your pet’s microchip and valid rabies vaccine on file before scheduling.
  • If you are traveling to a country other than the continental U.S., there may be additional steps you need to take for your pet or you may need to go to an off-post veterinarian – START THE PROCESS EARLY!! You can contact the clinic with questions, but we also encourage doing your own research as pet importation and airline requirements frequently change.
  • Keep in mind that if your pet needs their rabies vaccine updated, many airlines have a 21-day waiting period from the date of vaccination to when your pet can fly. Be sure to check your airline’s guidelines and restrictions when booking your travel!

There are additional steps you need to take: Starting August 1, 2024, the CDC Dog Import Form is required to bring your dog into the U.S.

These steps depend on where your dog has been in the past 6 months. Find out more here: Bringing a Dog into the U.S. | Importation | CDC, CDC Rabies Form, & CDC Import Instructions/Form

Wiesbaden Veterinary Treatment Facility

As our mission allows, we are happy to provide appointments for your pets! We offer appointments for U.S. health certificates, wellness, sick call, and procedures.

We recommend calling or emailing the clinic with any questions, medication refill requests, or to schedule an appointment. If you call with no answer, please leave us a voicemail and we will get back to you.

Registration forms may be submitted in person during clinic hours or via email. Please allow 3-5 business days for processing before requesting appointments.

Our reception team is available Monday through Friday for in/out processing, scheduling, medication refills, and information. Please see our monthly schedule below for any closures or changes to our hours. The clinic does close for all Federal and Training Holidays, as well as weekends. The schedule may change without notice.

We do not provide emergency services. Veterinary services are by appointment only.

Need a medication refilled for your pet?
Submit refill requests to the clinic via email or phone call – please include your pet’s name, sponsor name, the medication you need filled, and the best way to contact you with questions or follow-up.
Please allow 2-3 business days for medications refills.
In some cases, medications will need to be ordered and may take longer to fill.
Some medications require annual bloodwork.
